As Company Director of Urtext Film Productions, Matthew oversees all of Urtext's creative and commercial operations. In particular, Matthew is the sole producer of all of Urtext's film projects, including the soon-to-be finished feature film 'Offside'. Sole producership is a valued ability that is becoming ever rarer these days, and Matthew has not only produced a feature film before turning 25, he has also produced numerous shorts film and is also working on a feature-length documentary.

 In early 2008, Matthew was awarded the Emerging Producer award at the SA Short Screen Awards for Urtext's film production 'Hole in the Water'.

Matthew also served as Unit Manager and Second Unit Director on another upcoming feature film, Roadman, produced by Roadman Pictures and Southern Light Media. His commitment was such that he was also offered an Associate Producer credit for his work in the film.

In late 2008, Matthew is shifting part of his focus towards commercial and corporate work to help supplement his creative credentials. As Company Director of Urtext Film Productions, he is looking to expand the company, and its now-infamous 'Urtext Studios', into one of the creative powerhouses in South Australia.
