DFEEST Fresh Start Campaign

Produced by Urtext Films, via Showpony Advertising, for the Department of Further Education, Employment, Science and Technology

Showpony Advertising approached us to create a series of films that show the benefits of getting a ‘Fresh Start’ in the employment sector. We told the story of three real subjects – Aaron, Jenny and Bec – whose newfound employment changed their outlook on life.

Each story was made as a 30 second TVC, a 60 second TVC, and a 2 minute web film. The films were accompanied by an extensive print and outdoor campaign, with photography by Hugh Hartshorne.

It was exciting to have the opportunity to allow real subjects to be the voice of a government campaign of this magnitude. It is a complex issue, and we were fortunate enough to find three inspiring, funny, and endearing people who let us capture their story.
